About the owner…

Michael McCarthy lives in Maine. Besides coaching in private gymnastics schools, he also coached at the University of Wisconsin - Madison and the University of Whitewater. During his 25 plus years of coaching both boys and girls, he has traveled nationally and internationally representing the Junior National Olympic Team Staff at various competitions. Mike has had two gymnasts place in the top ten in two Olympic trials. He was also a public school teacher for 12 years along with receiving the Maine Governor’s award for his services as a school teacher. The senior coaching staff at MIDCOAST GYMNASTICS and CHEERLEADING SCHOOL are USAG safety certified.
